Crunchyroll 2022 awards. Our VOTES!
With 2021 now finished, it gives us the chance to look back on the year that was with the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Similar to the Triple J hottest 100 it can throw us some curveballs and force us to like certain characters/anime or even introduce us to anime we haven't seen yet. Alright we know that we are absolutely hopeless and probably should have posted this before voting started or about half way through but here we are after the voting has finished. To be fair the voting is only open for 1 week from 18th-25th of January.
The way the voting works is a group of judges (could be us one day) who are anime and manga critics, choose the nominees for each category. According to the Crunchyroll site, there were over 200 million votes from over 200 countries which means it's a pretty big deal!
The winners will be announced on the 9th of February.

Sheesh, that's a lot of categories! We will keep it simple with our voting and screenshot the nominees and our votes for all to see otherwise you won't know what else was nominated. Some of these nominees will probably win purely on popularity so we are going based on our own feelings towards it more than who will actually win! We will also put down who we think will win the category based on the popularity of the show etc.

And there you have our votes for the Crunchy roll anime awards for 2022. We will be sure to do another blog post after the winners are announced. We pretty much predict the most popular anime to take the crown for a lot of these categories.
Attack on Titan will most likely win everything no doubt...but oh well.
